Fox News has a problem – making one for us too!
With Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee all making moves indicating they may run for president, their common employer is facing a question that hasn’t been asked before: How does a news organization cover White House hopefuls when so many are on the payroll?
Okay- so here is a prime example of Big and politics sleeping together. It has now gotten us into a very scary position in politics. With people running for office and being on big business payroll- it presents a HUGE conflict of interest. It also proves that politicians are out for self gain with out any regards to the true impact of their actions.
We cannot allow politicians to work both sides of the coin. Either work for the government or stay out of politics and work for the private sector.
This applies to all political parties for any of you out there wishing to blindly label one side.

Government involvement?
Here's an interesting thought that most people never really acknowledge.
I don't have an answer for this nor does seemingly anyone else, but worth mentioning especially these days of political unrest.
Most people these days say that government is much to big and its involvement is much to great. I tend to agree with this. Here's the rub.
Generally speaking it is said, leave big business alone and it will correct its self. In theory this makes a lot of sense, since in hard times business will or should try to improve its self to maintain profits, etc..
The last downturn was a prime example of big business not looking to correct its self but to windfall as much profit as fast as possible without any regards of the outcome. This seems to be a very popular trend in business these days. Okay- so the big question here is--- Why now do we ask and blame government for our economic woes when we whined about wanting them to step aside and let business run its course? Seems like a lot of people are being hypocritical.
What's your opinion on this? But ya got to be objective on your thoughts. If you pick a political side and just point your finger at one person or party, you're not being honest with yourself. This theory on how government should work is as old as our country.
I posted this question on my Blog hoping to get a good cross section of opinions..

Point of View!
Seems to me there needs to be accountability to what government spends our money on.
Why are we paying for extended unemployment? This doesn't offer incentive to work. Why aren't we offering subsides to small business so they can hire people to work and grow their business. If people are working, they'll spend. Unemployment doesn't even offer enough to pay the bills, how does government expect those people to go out and spend money.
Big business is doing two things wrong right off the bat to bring and slow down our country:
1- They are making billions of dollars and paying themselves huge salaries but doing nothing to grow their business to hire more people back to work. The rich get richer and the poorer get poorer. Where's the logic in that?
2- Big business is shipping all the work over seas to save money. We are loosing our middle class of workers. No middle class, no spending. Where's the logic in that?
Oh I understand that a business needs to save as much as they can on overhead in order to maintain and build their profit margin. That is a wise thing to do. But to destroy our economy ( as what has already happened) and turn around and hoard all the money again and not build this country back to what it use to be? STUPID- JUST PLAIN STUPID and SELFISH AND UNCARING.
DUH! It is a no brainer here! All those over paid execs. at the top seem to only being concerned about themselves.
The way our country is going scares the hell out of me.

"Anti-Bunco" ?
Anti- Bunco? You may ask- what is this? First of all, what is Bunco? It is a silly mindless game played with dice. I'm happy to say that the enjoyment is only eclipsed by the great group of friends that attend this exciting evening.
We've decided to host the "Anti-Bunco" evening. It will be the 2nd. time we've hosted it. Instead of Bunco, we play an equally mindless game called Skittles. You have to spin a top that self maneuvers through a course to knock down pins. You then get points based upon the number of pins you knock down. Oh joy- the thrill - the excitement.
Anyway- the real great part of the evening is the food. we'll be grilling outside and enjoy all the conversation.
Eat your hearts out world- true culture is still alive!
